AI assistants (Claude and MCP)
Connect Claude or another assistant over MCP to read and file tickets, search the Armoury and sum up a client's week.
Knegt speaks MCP, the protocol AI assistants like Claude use to work with other tools. Connected, an assistant acts as you: with your access, inside your team.
Connecting
- Go to Settings → AI assistants and create a key. It's shown once; copy it then.
- Add Knegt to your assistant with the address and key shown on that page. For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http knegt <address> --header "Authorization: Bearer <key>"
Other assistants take the same address and header in their MCP settings. Revoke a key any time; revoking is permanent.
What it can do
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| Clients and tickets | list_clients, list_tickets, get_ticket, create_ticket, add_comment, move_ticket |
| Tags | list_tags, set_tags |
| The Armoury | search_armoury, get_armoury_entry, armoury_for_ticket |
| Meetings | add_meeting_note, list_meetings, client_summary |
| Brand and handoffs | get_brand, list_handoffs, get_handoff, create_handoff, add_handoff_block |
Skills and prompts in the Armoury also show up in the assistant's prompt menu; a prompt's [placeholders] become questions to fill in.
Try: "Summarise what happened for Acme this week", or "File a bug for Nordic Bikes: the checkout button is broken on Safari".
