Projects

Group a client's tickets and time, with an hourly rate and an optional budget in hours.

A project groups work for one client: its tickets and the time logged on it, at one hourly rate.

Starting a project

Admins start projects from Projects in the sidebar, or from a client's page.

  1. Choose New project.
  2. Name it, and pick the client.
  3. Set an Hourly rate and Currency (SEK by default), and optionally a Budget in hours.

The project is then there to pick on the client's tickets and on time entries. An accepted quote creates a project by itself, with the quote's hours and price as its budget.

Following a project

The Projects page lists every active project by client, with the hours logged against its budget and its open tickets. As logged time passes 85% of a budget the bar turns amber, and over 100% it turns red. The dashboard shows the same warnings.

Archiving

Archive a project when the work is over. Its time and tickets stay, but it can't be picked for new work. Archived projects wait under Archived, where you can restore them.
