Getting started

What Knegt is, who uses it, and the first things to do as an agency or as a client.

Knegt is one calm board for client work. The agency sees every client's tickets; each client sees only their own company's. Requests come in, move across the board, get reviewed by the client, and end up done, with the files, comments, time and quotes in one place.

Three kinds of people

RoleWhat they do
Agency adminEverything a member can, plus clients, projects, archiving, inviting staff, billing and Slack.
Agency memberWorks the board: tickets, comments and internal notes, time, quotes, handoffs, meetings and the Armoury. Can invite client users.
Client userFiles requests, follows them, comments, reviews finished work, answers quotes and keeps the brand kit. Clients are always free.

Starting as an agency

  1. Sign up with your email and pick a plan. Squire is free for up to three team members and two clients.
  2. Name your team and invite your teammates.
  3. Add your first client under Clients, and invite their contact. They get an email with a link to sign in.
  4. File a ticket, or wait for the client's first request. It lands in Backlog on the board.

Starting as a client

Your agency invites you by email. Open the link, and you're in: there's no password to remember. Working with your agency walks through everything you can do.

Try it first

The live demo at knegt.app/demo has sample clients and tickets, and lets you switch between the agency's view and a client's. Nothing you do there is saved anywhere but your browser.
