The board and tickets
How tickets move from Backlog to Done, what a ticket holds, and how to find anything on the board.
Deliveries is every client's work on one board. Each column is a status, and each card is a ticket.
Statuses
| Column | Means |
|---|---|
| Backlog | Filed, not planned yet. New tickets start here, at the top. |
| To do | Planned and up next. |
| Ongoing | Someone is working on it. |
| In review | Waiting for the client to approve it. Moving a ticket here asks them to. See Client reviews. |
| Done | Approved or finished. Done cards older than 30 days fold away behind Show older. |
| Archive | Tickets archived in the last 90 days. Only admins archive. |
Drag a card to another column to change its status, or up and down to set its order. Within a column, cards keep the order you give them, then follow priority and age.
What a ticket holds
Click a card to open it.
- Title (up to 120 characters) and brief (up to 2,000).
- Category: Design, SEO, Development, Bug fix, Video or Photo.
- Priority: Low, Medium, High or Urgent.
- Assignee: anyone in the agency.
- Client: optional. A ticket without a client is the agency's own work: no client sees it, and it has no project or review.
- Project: one of the client's projects.
- Deliverables: files up to 50 MB each, with previews for images, and links with a preview of the page.
- Comments for the client, and internal notes that only the agency sees.
- Blocked by: other tickets for the same client that must be done first.
- Internal tags: your team's own labels. Clients never see them.
- Time logged on the ticket, and a Log time button.
Filing a ticket
Use New ticket in the sidebar. Pick the client, or No client: internal work, and write a short brief. Clients file their own from their board; those land in your Backlog and notify the team.
Finding things
Press / to search titles. The filter bar narrows the board by client (or No client), assignee, priority, category and tag, and the switch at the top shows Mine or Everyone. Filters live in the address, so you can bookmark a view or share it.
Archiving
Admins archive finished or cancelled tickets from the ticket's menu: it disappears from both boards. For 90 days it waits in the Archive column, where an admin can drag it back into any status.
